Implementation

The implementation of the myUFL systems began in Jul 2002 with the selection of PeopleSoft as the ERP vendor. The university introduced the UFID on 21 Jan 2003. The myUFL portal was launched on 31 Mar 2003. Enterprise Reporting was launched on 08 Aug 2003. Password Management was launched on 05 May 2004. Core components of the Human Resource and Finance systems were launched on 18 Jun 2004. Remaining components of the systems were launched on 01 Jul 2004.

Advisory User Councils

Advisory User Councils (AUCs) included faculty, staff and students from all areas of campus who advised the Bridges team about all aspects of the transition from different perspectives.

Bridges Advisory

Bridges Advisory is an important weekly email to all UF employees to ensure a smooth transition for you and your department, college or division. The Bridges Advisories will provide the information you need as well as steps you should take to get ready for any changes. An archive is provided for reference.

Bridges Teams

The Bridges staff is organized into specific groups (i.e., finance, human resources, student, portal, infrastructure, communication). These groups are working together to accomplish a smooth implementation.
