Printable versionThe University of Florida is committed to keeping you informed as we continue our transition to the new myUFL systems. To help you with the transition, each week you will receive a Bridges Advisory.
Accounts Receivable Accounting Period Deposit Dates Corrected. When the accounting date is changed on the payments tab, all other associated accounting dates for the deposit are synchronized. This correction process will prevent the generation of journals with different dates and the journal out of balance error condition.
Commitment Control Ledger Discrepancies Problem Corrected. The Commitment Control enhancement will synchronize two commitment control tables. This modification will be put into production as part of the myUFL maintenance window scheduled Friday, October 28, from 8 PM to 10 PM.
Enterprise Reporting – Data Element Dictionary. Enterprise reporting has developed a data element dictionary for end-users with the query studio role. The data element dictionary will provide key information including group packages of like query subjects and data item elements with report attributes.
myUFL Scheduled Maintenance this Friday, October 28, 8 PM to 10 PM Bridges will be performing routine scheduled maintenance and enhancements to the myUFL systems on Friday, October 28, between 8 pm and 10 pm. We do not expect outages for HR and portal except for a very brief outage around 10pm. However finance will be unavailable for most of the period between 8pm and 10pm. If you do encounter any problems with the portal or applications within the portal after 10pm, please clear your cache and try again before contacting the Help Desk to report a problem.
myUFL Scheduled Maintenance – Sunday, October 30, 6 AM to 9 AM. Bridges will be performing routine scheduled maintenance and enhancements to the myUFL systems on Sunday, October 30, between 6 AM and 9 AM. During this time, the portal, Human Resource Management System, Financial applications and Enterprise Reporting will not be available.
