ENTERPRISE REORTING NOT AVAILABLE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FOR UPGRADE. Enterprise Reporting will not be available from 8:00 am, Saturday, December 18 through 12:00 noon, Sunday, December 19, due to a system upgrade. If you try to use Enterprise Reporting during this maintenance window, you will either get an "undergoing maintenance" message or a Cognos login screen. You will not be able to log on. Please do not call the UF Help Desk if you see either of these screens appear during the maintenance window.
Following the upgrade, the PowerPlay toolbar will change and an updated instruction guide will be available by Monday on the Bridges Web site.
MANY IMPROVEMENTS MADE TO myUFL SYSTEMS LAST WEEKEND. This past weekend Bridges conducted the most significant upgrade to the myUFL systems since go-live. Most of the changes are not visible to end users. The upgrade did fixed several specific problems as well as improved general system performance. In addition to upgrading to a newer version of PeopleTools (the internal architecture of the PeopleSoft system) for Finance and HRMS modules, we implemented 16 “fixes” in eRecruit, Benefits, Payroll, Security (ARS), Grants, General Ledger, and Asset Management.
EARNING AND DEDUCTION CODES. Are you confused about what all the codes mean on your paycheck? Please check out resources on the Bridges Web site under Services > Payroll to help you decipher your paycheck. These documents have recently been updated or added:
MIAMI HERALD REMOVED FROM myUFL. This week Bridges removed the Miami Herald pagelet from the myUFL portal this week due to registration requirements. We anticipate having another state news source in place soon. Users who subscribed to the Miami Herald pagelet can subscribe to the new pagelet when available.
NEW INSTRUCTION GUIDES. Some new or updated Instruction Guides are available:
- Enterprise Reporting: Easy Way to Find Specific Dimensions in a Cognos Cube (New)
- Payroll: Payroll Distributions (Updated)
- Hiring and Job Actions: Assign Additional Job (Updated)
