Student Financials Implementation: Update #1
Countdown to October 13 'Go Live'
On August 11, the PeopleSoft-Student Financials (SF) Implementation Team began User Acceptance Testing (UAT) at Bridges and at University Financial Services (UFS). Bridges also began providing selected departments with early access to the SF application so testing of their business processes could begin.
Stuart Hoskins, Sr. Associate Controller, along with the Bridges SF Implementation team, are conducting in-person training visits with academic and administrative departments across campus. This is being done so both core business offices and non-core departments are familiar with viewing, entering, adjusting, and retrieving data in the new application. Additional in-person training visits will be conducted by the SF Implementation team, with the goal of meeting with as many departments as possible prior to the start of training sessions offered by HR's Training and Organizational Development. (The sessions will begin in mid-September.)
